A special series of immersive workshops in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Pardes Hannah.
A groundbreaking approach to creative writing for writers and non-writers.
Developed by Madelyn Kent, former faculty of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and Feldenkrais practitioner, Sense Writing has helped over a thousand people all over the world work with their bodies to uncover richer processes of artistic discovery.
"Madelyn Kent’s workshop challenged Struggle’s worth and reminded me of the original impulse that led me to make my life about writing."
-The Elephant Journal
"Okay, what's a less dramatic way of telling you that this class has changed my life?"
-Olga Kreimer, Yoga Teacher/Journalist, Los Angeles Review of Books
In this workshop, you will learn to:
*Work with the nervous system to interrupt body and language patterns that inhibit writing
*Find pleasure in all the stages of writing
*Refine your craft
*Complete two pieces of memoir and/or fiction.
Sense Writing has been taught at leading conservatories, universities, and retreat centers, including New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Kripalu Yoga Retreat, and NY's Open Center.
