as we handle increasing amounts of great content, we need to expand our
marketing team. The Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager will be in
charge of the site’s content distribution, with a heavy focus on social
media and promoting our content to interested niche groups. An ideal
candidate will be a tech enthusiast with the heart of a journalist, the
mind of a marketer, and the attitude of a growth hacker.

The position’s duties will include the following principal tasks:
- Creating and executing Geektime’s content distribution strategy via
social media channels, optimization of current networks and expansion into
new platforms.
- Creating and executing the company's marketing strategy, with emphasis on
user acquisition via various platforms, usage growth and retention, and
sales.

Job Requirements:
- Native English speaker and writer – a must.
- Hands-on social media experience (preferably in a content-driven company)
with all the networks and tools (FB, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, Reddit,
Hackernews, WeChat, etc) – a must.
- Deep knowledge of analytical platforms (BI, Google Analytics, Google
Trends, Google Play, App Store data, Adwords, Facebook audiences, etc.).
- Knowledge in various online marketing activities such as PPC, SEO & ASO,
email marketing, push notifications, landing pages, and competitor analysis (an advantage).
- Creative mind.
- Great communication skills.
- Technology background (an advantage).
- Journalism background (an advantage).
- Previous experience writing and editing in English.
- Available for full-time job in Tel Aviv.
