Leah Guren, Director of Training at In Other WORDS, has been elected to a board position at STC (Society for Technical Communication, the largest professional society for technical communicators, with over 12,000 members worldwide). Leah is a senior STC member and has long been active in the Israel chapter. She looks forward to her new board position (Director-a position formerly known as Director/Sponsor). The position involves serving as a liaison between STC members and the Society-level board of directors.
Leah's election marks the first time that a member from Israel has served at the international level.
