Mellanox Technologies is looking for a technical writer to join its Technical Publications team responsible for producing and publishing collateral for all of the company’s hardware and software products. The team is composed of highly diverse and experienced technical communicators, where each member is responsible for one or more product lines and interacts with Architects, R&D, Marketing, QA and other staff to develop and publish product collateral.

Responsibilities

The role of the joining technical writer will include the following responsibilities:

Work out documentation schedules with product Marketing managers and execute accordingly

Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to develop and/or revise document content

Run or participate in software/firmware programming sessions to document product setup and configuration

Help Product Marketing and R&D managers with customer presentations (phrasing, grammar, corporate template compliance, etc.)

Qualifications

Requirements:

Experience:

1-3 years of official technical writing experience (in English)

Proven English writing and editing skills (samples will be required)

Language competence: English – native speaker level; Hebrew – professional fluency

Education and Required Skills:

B.A. or higher degree in English Language and Literature; or, for a native English speaker, a university degree (preferably in a scientific/engineering discipline)

Microsoft Office literacy: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio

Graphics tools (Advantage): FrameMaker, Photoshop
